My name is Chellie LaPointe and I am a fiber artist and potter. I create handspun yarn for one of a kind fiber projects and hand-painted pottery inspired by the wildlife around my home in rural North Carolina.
I am a life-long birder and enjoy capturing the spirit and character of wild birds in my whimsical illustrations. My pots are hand thrown and then decorated in a process that involves carving, painting, staining and glazing, which is all done in my home studio. Each pot is thoughtfully designed and individually handmade.
