My name is Chellie LaPointe and I am a potter and fiber artist in Orange County, NC. I am a Durham Craft Market member as well as a vendor and at fiber festivals and craft shows throughout the Southeast.
I have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Art History and teach Art History at Wake Technical Community College.
I live in rural Orange County, NC, with my husband, infant daughter, and two rescue dogs: Winslow, a Beagle, and Ernie, a Terrier mix.

My pottery designs take time. For each new design, I create an original hand drawing, re-size the drawing to fit the piece of pottery, and then experiment with painted under-glazes to get the right colors. For this reason, prices for custom pottery items start at $150.
Need more yarn skeins to finish a project? Each colorway is easily repeatable and there is no surcharge for additional skeins. Please just provide the colorway name as well as yardage or skeins needed and I’ll be in touch shortly! Please note: custom handspun yarn orders take 4-6 weeks.
